Dear readers, have you ever got the feeling that you were too tired to get up? I didn't want to get up this morning but I had to because I had to fill up my Guinea Pig's water bottle. But now, I'm happy that I got up because I get to see the family waking up and that sight really gives me a head start on my day. And when I get a head start on my day, I feel really, you know, happy.

ReplyDeleteI am with you. I didn't want to get up in the middle of the night to feed my new baby, Lucy. However, once I did it, I was so glad. I felt really, really, really happy to have that special time with her.

Amy, i did some thing better than sledding. I went skydiving off the big snow mountain in our front yard with my friends. It was fun.

ReplyDeleteI think the very early morning is the best part of the day. Before others are awake and about and it's a little more quiet and personal. I've not always felt that way, certainly not when I was a teenager. As the guys down here say, " Chesapeake waterman seen more sun rises in a year than most people see in their lifetime". I think sunrises are more beautiful than sunsets because they are presenting the day to you. Remember watching the sunrise when you rode to the pound nets on the Elva C with Mandy?

Chase, I loved reading your perspective about waking up. You shared your positive outlook on life, even though it is sometimes tough to get up early for others. I'm sure your mommy has never felt that way about getting up for you!
