Teachers

Have you ever had a teacher so nice that you just wanted to hide in the teacher's bag and go home with her? I have. My teacher is really nice. Her name is Mrs. Dionne. She has a huge dog at her house! His name is Mudge. I have seen him a lot. He's a Mastiff. He has a very strong tail, so sometimes it hurts a little. But he's a REALLY nice dog. I like him. I like Mrs. Dionne, too. She's always smiling.

  1. Chase,
If you go home with Mrs. Dionne...who will make dinner around here?

    :)

I love you and I'm so grateful that you have such a wonderful teacher. You are a lucky guy.

    Love, Mommy

  2. A wonderful teacher is such a blessing! I love your honesty about Mudge and how his tale hurts. It really helps me picture just how big and powerful he is.

I look forward to your blog every day, Chase!

  3. I still remember my very favorite teacher, Mrs. Czarniak. She was the best. I even got to catch up with her some because her daughter is Lindsey Czarniak, a sports caster on Channel 7, who put me in contact with her.

  6. Chase,
I imagine your teacher is a big fan of the books, Henry and Mudge. Are you? Mudge is hilarious! Nice teachers who have big dogs are the best ;)! And what a lucky teacher to have you as a student.

  7. It is nice that you notice that your teacher smiles a lot. I bet she makes learning fun. Maybe that’s why she is always smiling. Hmmm…do you find that you and your classmates smile a lot throughout the day? I think smiles are contagious! Thanks for making me smile today.

  11. Chase,

I remember my favorite teacher, actually two of them. One was in third grade about 55 years ago. Her name was Ms. O'leary, she was young and I thought she might be the most beautiful woman I ever saw. I would have gone home in her bag in a heartbeat.

Fifteen years later I had Ms. Mayer as a teacher in college. She was older, about 62 and I remember thinking that she was one of the kindes and deepest and most beautiful people I had ever met. I did go to her home on several occasions to talk about writing.

  14. Paige, You should ask your mom to help you make a blog. Then we could read our blogs!
It's really fun making a blog.
