Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?

Dear readers, what is your favorite board game? I like: "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader"? I think it is cool. You get graded and you win money. Well ,actually when we play it, we just win points. But that doesn't take any of the fun away.And you have to start with a first grade question and then go up and up and up and up until you reach fifth grade. Then you go for the million point cards witch are really hard and if you get those right, you are smarter than a fifth grader! [Lots of applause].

FEBRUARY

Fun in the winter sny
Excellent month for Valentines
Brilliant time for snyball fights
Running inside to avoid the cold air
Unusual month because it's only 28 days
Abraham Lincoln's birthday
Racing snowboarders in the winter olympics
Yodeling while sledding down a hill

Smart?

This is a poem about a boy learning a lesson about money.



My dad gave me one dollar bill 'cause i'm his smartest son, And i swapped it for 2 shiny quarters 'cause 2 is more than one!
And then i took the quarters and traded them to Lou, for three dimes-i guess he don't know that three is more than two!
Just then , along came blind old Bates and just cause he can't see, He gave me four nickels for my three dimes and four is more than 3 !
And i took the nickels to Hiram Coombs down at the seed-feed store, and the fool gave me five pennies for them, and 5 is more than 4 !
And then i went and showed my dad, and he got red in his cheeks,and closed his eyes and shook his head - too proud of me to speak!

Dear Readers,

I am at my grandparent's house right now. It is in the Northern Neck, but it is actually in Southern Virginia. Pretty silly, huh? I am having lots of fun down here and I miss all my readers. I am 3 hours away from my house but i can still post but i can't get to the place that says new post. but, there's another way to post a post. i like blogging a lot and maybe you can start one too. it doesn't cost anything! And it's really fun owning a website! It's like you are famous! Everybody commenting, writing guest posts, i mean, can there be anything better? I haven't been to Reedville in a pretty long time and i am glad to see a different part of virginia, so Alooohhha World!

Penicillin and Toddler Cartoons

When Tish says grace, she thanks God for penicillin. Like, how did she even get to know about penicillin? Problem solved. It was in this book that she loves called "The Lady With The Alligator Purse". What about a crocodile? Anyway, some cartoons just don't make sense. 'Cause I was watching one today this morning and there was this old man that had a lot of food but 3 out of his like 57 rice cakes rolled out the door and into a hole in the ground. He started BAWLING desperately!!!!!!! Why cry that loud when you have all that other food?!?! Some cartoons I just don't know about.

We're All In This Together

Dear readers, do you have a favorite song? I do. It's called: We're All In This Together. It's a really good song. It's from High School Musical 1. My Computer lab teachers are so crazy about it that they made us dance to it RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE FIFTH GRADERS!!!!!!!!! We just made fools out of ourselves. I think they like it because maybe you can't do something by yourself, but together,you can do ANYTHING!! ANYTHING,READERS!!!!!!!!!! ANYTHING ON EARTH!!

God Lover

When Tish was 2 years old, when mom gave her time-outs, she used to talk to God. I was like, "That's like what a 6 year old would do and she's not even 5!" They can grow up so fast. It makes me feel like crying . Tish is just the real God Lover.
She is the best. In the next 4 years, I'll be voting for her as the US president. I stand up to her , but it will be hard for the rest of you because she will be president!!

TIRED!

Dear readers, have you ever got the feeling that you were too tired to get up? I didn't want to get up this morning but I had to because I had to fill up my Guinea Pig's water bottle. But now, I'm happy that I got up because I get to see the family waking up and that sight really gives me a head start on my day. And when I get a head start on my day, I feel really, you know, happy.

Food Fight!

Dear Readers, Last night at dinnertime, my Aunt Mandy told me to throw a grape at one of my sisters. Right when i started to throw, my Aunt stopped me. So, I didn't know what to do. She was blowing this weird sounding party horn at me. It was a pretty crazy party. Anyways, my sister loved her strobe light and all her other gifts.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Today was Tish's Birthday and she is getting some really cool gifts tonight. She is getting a strobe light, a Barbie doll, and like a million more gifts.But I'm not jealous.i got 2 African dwarf frogs and I have a pretty good feeling about them. I like how when Tish coughs on her elbow, it makes a cute little toot.

TV

Readers, have you had like a younger sibling that loved TV so much that she/he would never let you watch the kind of shows that you liked to watch? MEEEEEEEE! My sister Tish is always doing that kind of thing. And i'm not a big fan of how she does that. Yeah. Very ANNOYING. I still like her, but I wish she didn't live in this actual house.

Sny

Dear Readers, I know you are amazed by how much sny we got today. [sny is what my little sister calls snow. Sny, sny, sny,sny. Every winter i hear sny. It's actually a pretty cute word. My mom says that we have to go to a hotel if our power goes out because of the sny. Weather report here, is 15 inches of sny on the ground right now.

Teachers

Have you ever had a teacher so nice that you just wanted to hide in the teacher's bag and go home with her? I have. My teacher is really nice. Her name is Mrs. Dionne. She has a huge dog at her house! His name is Mudge. I have seen him a lot. He's a Mastiff. He has a very strong tail, so sometimes it hurts a little. But he's a REALLY nice dog. I like him. I like Mrs. Dionne, too. She's always smiling.

Carrollton Crew

Have you ever had a friend that asked you which friend you liked the most??? I have lots of friends and they're all my favorites. And we have this thing called the Carrollton Crew. The people so far that are in the Carrollton Crew are : Gracie, Hope, Paige, Ian, Kerstin, Tish, Amanda , Chase, Madison,Thomas , Molly, Mick, Kelly, Abby, and Rachel, but anyone can join!!! Our Family helped create the Carrollton Crew! I just like to be nice. I want to make sure no one feels left out!

Getting Used To It

Dear Readers, do you remember back in First Grade when on the first day of school you went into the cafeteria and you didn`t know where to sit, you didn`t know where to get your lunch? I know, scary. You`ve never been in the cafeteria with the big kids before. Last year, in Kindergarten, you were the only ones in the cafeteria, so you weren`t that scared. First Grade is a whole new thing for you. But when you get used to it, it sounds just like Kindergarten.

Frustration Exploding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone knows how kids get frustrated sometimes. Well, that happened to me just yesterday. My sister Tish LOVES to mess things up. Last night, my Dad & I were trying to make a Lego car. She got some pieces. But we got some of it to work. I just noticed that I am still angry. I am really frustrated. But, you know. Sometimes kids get frustrated.
